Priory Park Dig
Each year during Roman Week, a team from Chichester District Archaeology Society set up an area of Priory Park to excavate. The Priory Park Archaeology Project investigates areas in the park where they have found evidence of a Roman bath-house and house. The week culminates in a Public day where they share some of their most interesting finds over the week.
As the dig couldn't go ahead this year, we thought we would we would share some of the discoveries found last year, you can download the Project report from 2019 here.
