My aim for this project was to show images that celebrate places in Chichester, with lots of nature, landscape and historic buildings. I planned my paper cut-outs by photographing Chichester Cathedral, the Trundle Hill, the Chichester Walls, Priory Park with the Guildhall and Little Gardens to get the best images of them. The next step was to plan and create cut out images of the photos, that showed as much detail as clearly as possible - there are many small shapes involved. I then added a simple background in one colour. Finally, I put the paper cuts in a book with titles for each artwork.
