Peace Dress

At East Wittering Church Hall a VE Day concert took place. This child's peace dress, said to have been made from parachute silk, crepe paper and foil saved from packaging, was worn by 3 year old Anne Fulcher (nee Reed) during the event. It was hand sewn by Anne's grandmother. Anne can be seen wearing the dress in the below photo.
